Terms of Service for LaunchLogs
Effective Date: November 1, 2025
Welcome to LaunchLogs (https://www.launchlogs.com). By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to the terms outlined below. Please read them carefully.
1. Overview
LaunchLogs is a productivity and “build-in-public” tool that generates daily summaries and social-ready posts based on your GitHub commit activity. Users may sign up for a free trial period, after which a paid subscription is required to maintain continued access.
LaunchLogs is intended for individual creators, developers, and solopreneurs. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of LaunchLogs complies with all applicable laws.
2. Accounts
To use LaunchLogs, you must create an account and provide accurate information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and ensuring that only you access your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for misuse or violation of these terms.
3. Free Trial & Subscriptions
New users receive a free trial (2–3 days depending on promotional offer). During this trial, you have access to the features included in your chosen plan.
Once the trial ends, a paid subscription is required to continue using LaunchLogs. If no subscription is activated, your summaries, logs, and settings may be deleted after a short grace period.
Subscription fees are billed in advance and renew automatically unless canceled.
4. Data We Collect
LaunchLogs only collects the data necessary to operate the service. This includes:
- Account Data: Email address, name (if provided), and authentication credentials.
- GitHub Data: Repository information, commit messages, and metadata retrieved from GitHub.
- Usage Data: Technical information (IP, device, browser) for security and performance.
LaunchLogs does not sell or share your data with third parties.
For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
5. How LaunchLogs Uses Your GitHub Data
By connecting GitHub, you authorize LaunchLogs to access commit messages and metadata from repositories you explicitly grant permission to. This data is used to generate summaries, posts, and analytics.
LaunchLogs does not modify your repositories, create commits, or perform any action other than reading the data you authorize. You may disconnect GitHub or delete your data at any time.
6. User Responsibilities
You agree not to:
- Use LaunchLogs for unlawful or harmful activities.
- Automate posting in ways that violate the terms of third-party platforms.
- Interfere with or attempt to breach the security of the service.
You are responsible for any content you publish through LaunchLogs, including AI-generated summaries.
7. Service Availability & Changes
We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We will provide notice of material changes to pricing or functionality.
LaunchLogs may experience temporary downtime due to maintenance or updates. While we strive for reliability, uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.
8. Cancellation & Refund Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Refunds are not provided for partial periods.
Deleting your account immediately removes your data from our active systems.
9. Limitation of Liability
LaunchLogs is provided “as-is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, LaunchLogs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for issues arising from third-party services such as GitHub or email providers.
